Florio is a lawyer. I can hear the excitement in his voice discussing the stuff!

I'm very disappointed with the quick response the nfl made

Teams are paying black coaches to intentionally lose. I have a big problem with that.

Jerry Jones gave Mervin Lewis a interview knowing he wasn't going to hire him. The Rooney rule is just a afterthought anymore.

The issue with the Rooney Rule is that it only forces NFL teams to interview minority candidates. It never requires teams to hire a minority candidate for a position. That inherently makes the Rooney Rule a glorified box checker mechanism that every team is mandated to check when going through the hiring process regardless if they have already decided on a potential hire or not.

Yeah jerry Jones has a history of hiring mediocre white coaches lol

There is always more going on behind the scene. That business with owners willing to pay coaches to lose probably has been going on for a while. That has a heck of a lot more implication than the Rooney rule. It may be package as the draft strategy but the gambling side of it is huge. Place your bets at your own risk.

I don't know what Jerry Jones' statement means. It's all over the place. But he does admit that the NFL hiring process isn't all peaches and cream.

It's evident more everyday why Florio is no longer practicing law. There is nothing dispositive, in either direction, about saying the suit lacks merit.

If Flores has made false accusations I hope that he is held accountable however if it goes the other way then the same result should stand .

“Without merit” - that’s just a standard response to lawsuits. You dismiss it right away. What else are they supposed to say? “Yeah Flores is right, we are pretty racist”.

Always remember the OWNERS are in the SKYBOXES and the players are ON or IN the FIELD(S).

The most egregious example of that was when Duce Staley who was the running backs coach was walking down the hall and the eagles front office guys called him in and gave him a sham interview so they can say they complied with the rules

The Bottom line is Coach Flores should have never been Fired! Belichick's text "proves" against Giants 11th Hour claim? Denver/Elway hungover an hour late!

"At the behest." Nice euphamism. Roger Goodell WORKS FOR the owners. HE IS THE OWNERS' EMPLOYEE. HE IS THE OWNERS' DOBERMAN.
Is that more clear?

Dallas Cowboys have never hired a Black coach in the history of the franchise, New York Giants and many others as well.

These owners are billionaires and no one is going to tell them how to run their business

lawyers don't make dispositive utterances; that is a judicial function.

"Without merit.." was written by a lawyer, and a dense lawyer. I would fire whoever wrote that text.
