I’ve had mine for a while now and seems to work flawlessly…. Only thing I’d like to see is a spring like seen on another brand to kinda push the drill chuck back up when done drilling a hole….

You really need to start making review videos of your products in use, not only the sales part of it

Why does this only have a 1/4" hex shank??? This is supposed to be a heavier duty drill guide, but the Milescraft drill guide uses a 3'8" shank. If you want to use larger forstner bits, the shanks on those bits are often bigger than this guide. It seems like 90% of the components on this guide are heavier duty than the competition, but 10% are smaller and since it is only as strong as its weakest link, this isn't any better. The pictures from Rocker show a 12V Bosch drill being used. That explains it.

I really like the idea of a drill guide. It isn't practical to put an 8' 4x4 on a drill press and figure out a way to secure it. This seems half assed.

Along the edge guide, can we also use router bits with the portable drill guide?

Why does he not use the pillar drill in the background and make a template?
Its far more cost effective to buy a quality pillar drill

Don't buy this drill guide. I purchased one last year. Once you mount a drill, it simply jams going down or going up. Completely useless. Quality parts. But Horrible design.
A few of my friends purchased it as well. Same problems.
Returned to rockler. Very disappointed.
