ABOUT THE THREE QUESTIONS WITH ANDY RICHTER
Host Andy Richter asks the same three questions to each guest: Where do you come from? Where are you going? What have you learned? These three simple questions, when answered honestly and thoughtfully, are enough to provide a pretty complete picture of who a person is. The answers are what Andy always wants to know about people. This will not be a one-sided process, as Andy won’t shy away from getting personal himself.

This was a perfect example of Flula matching Andy’s energy and referential humor style while still staying himself! He’s a comedic chameleon!

The way Flula understands the English language so much to just make everything he says funny is unbelievable. I know people who think that he's just getting things wrong but I don't know how some people can't see that he's so amazing with the English language he know which words to get wrong and which word is the funniest "mistake"

Its so fascinating to see Flula even mildly subdued

Such a good conversation. I’ve never really heard Flula speak about his comedy before so I really enjoyed it.

For the longest time I avoided watching anything with Flula because he looked like an annoying goofball. Then I saw a clip and became a fan immediately. He is incredibly quick witted and doing it in a second language is even more impressive.

I can only assume that Flula's shirt is in such a state because Andy does pre-interview MMA cage matches

Wow. Listening to Flula made me realize hes a LOT more clever and insightful than he seems. Hes clearly very smart and he think through stuff a lot. Very interesting.

I like how Andy’s subdued podcast is a great compliment to the good chaos of conan’s podcast

As a German working in a mostly English-language-only environment (where I believe I'm somewhat fluent in English), since binging Flula bits...but...oh boy! he's so fast and witty with his mouth and so fluent on a high level and also his vocabulary range...puuuh, he must be a very smart and educated person tbh...kudos 😊

Such a great point Andy brings up. I feel like so many people don't even comprehend that when someone is in the public eye, especially a comedian, they wear a mask that is for lack of a better word "domesticated" just like everyone else does when they go out in public. It is impossible to be truly creative when you hamper your own thought process with burdens like morality or public perception. that has always been the case but I think that people used to be more aware of it. Maybe it's because social media, the internet, 24 hour news, cell phones, the information age in general means that the walls between not just celebrities, but everyone and their private lives are increasingly transparent or even knocked down and the lines blurred.

I wish I could breathe Flula instead of oxygen, brings new meaning to a "breath of fresh air" 😆 one of the best members of the Conan reoccurring family

This was a wonderful episode. I first saw this clip, then jumped on to the podcast. I liked how it was just a conversation between two friends and not an interview with just Andy driving the conversation

Flula has a very genuine brand of comedy I rarely get to run across. The first time I heard him was on the Kingcast when he gave the hosts his personal synopsis of Maximum Overdrive, to this day it is still one of my favorite episodes of any podcast I had ever listened to.

Flula is just a very intelligent person. Probably the most intelligent comedian. His deliberate "mistakes" in English on Conan were always so well-crafted and the coherence of that with the persona he has adopted is just flawless. Also has very deep pop culture references! Would have loved the full video of this entire conversation.

It became very clear to me and others, I'm sure, that Flula is quite intelligent when he started doing math equations in videos for his fans during the pandemic. Flula is awesome ❤️

Another example is Christopher Guest. He is one of the few comedic actors who leads a very serious private life. People have asked Jamie Lee Curtis if he is as funny at home and she says no because he treats humor as his occupation and chooses to not bring his work home with him. There is also the fact that in addition to being Christopher Guest - Hollywood actor, writer and director, he is the current Baron Haden-Guest - a British noble.

as someone from the outside looking in, i've noticed that most eauropean celebrities do this, have a public persona which is usually a "bit" and the private real person. which is something that surprises a lot of people from the states.
