I test drove both back to back, this seems pretty legit, you can definitely feel the weight difference, but launch on awd felt faster and this video depicts that pretty well imo

I'm assuming the blue is AWD and white is RWD.

This is the first RWD vs AWD video I've seen! Awesome to see, doesn't look like there's a huge difference like the RWD vs AWD-P but definitely noticeable! Thanks for posting this.

so the awd is a bit quicker and has a bigger battery, but the hefty price tag is a no no. I got the RWD long range that does not drive itself but has a real world range of 574 km/356 miles with a pricetag of 40k in portugal

I would bet the AWD would be much better than even here if it had performance tires and lower springs. At least in terms of absolute performance anyway, given that all three vehicles have the base tires and wheels, so I'd imagine relatively they'd all perform the same with better tires. I've got an AWD on order (trying my best to wait patiently!), and plan on getting better tires for it. This is getting me even more excited!

Question: what's the fastest acceleration time that you've heard or seen from the AWD so far?

The driver in the RWD weighed in at 350 LBS and the driver of the AWD was 125lbs. :-D :-P

Wow - I was expecting a larger separation for a half second 0-60 time. Did the drivers vbox their 0-60 times?

My AWD does 12.37 in the 1/4 now after the 5% power increase update.

12.6s vs 13.6s and 110mph vs 102mph is very significant.

pretty much what we all knew. AWD is faster during initial acceleration, largely because the RWD is held back via software and waiting to be uncorked... or not...

Is this the AWD or AWD-P (Performance) ? They are two different cars you know..
