Forget about the Rolex and the Cartier. The Blancpain Moonphase watch was the icing in the cake. Such a beautiful watch.

I love how she knew Cartier and Rolex, the two brands that are worth the least in the bunch.

My dad, may he rest in peace, always loved watches just like her dad. He collected them and had about 30 to 40 watches in his life time. All he wanted for Christmas was watches and shirts. He was robbed and he was so depressed. My brothers, sister and I pitched in and bought him watches and I bought a safe. Dad passed away at 98 years old. Love you Papa.

They would be worth triple that in today's market.

I’m not into watches whatsoever, but this guy’s excitement is infectious! All of a sudden I was enthralled! Brilliant work!

They looked like Dad hadn't just collected them--he wore them. He had extremely good taste--every watch collector who sees this is gonna flip.

This was almost 9 years ago as of the writing of my comment. Watch prices have gone into the stratosphere in that time, these watches are almost certainly worth a lot more today than they were back in early 2014!

WOW, they are all beautiful watches! If I had that kind of money, I would buy them all from her and her dad!

I must say, those watches worth much more than those prices.

I love this episode is one of my favorites. The fact that she's so proud of her father and loves the fact that he collected him and you could tell she was just overwhelmed and amazed and proud of him for having this kind of collection

How can one be a watch expert while one cannot even pronounce the names of some of the most famous watch brands?

So his health is failing…So we started to go through his personal positions and sell them. He was a true watch collector and had a great eye for style….RIP

This aired in 2014. I guarantee those prices are off now. That grungy old Rolex would probably fetch 7 or 8 at auction. Auction of both Patek’s and buy a house…😂

That Datejust has an engine turned bezel, not fluted, which unlike the fluted is steel not gold

What's more fascinating is that the fact that her father use all those watches. The wear and tear made it even more beautiful even though it'll worth more if it's stayed unworn. Especially that Blancpain.
