ok so this is the first time using Evernote and just with these first two videos of this series, I can already tell that this is going to be great. Thank you Professor Pullein - you talked about this in other video comments, and the interface is diff from web to Win 10 version. There are a lot more steps in Win 10 to set default - got to Tools, Options, General, and you can click the button there to select default notebook.

I have downloaded the app using Chrome, however my everynote layout does not look like yours, and I can't find the place to make "inbox" my default notebook.
And thank you for posting these videos. I'm only 2 in, and it is helping me a tonne.

Hi. I'm using Windows and since the layout is different from that of MAC, I am unable to understand how to set notebooks as default. I also tried right-clicking the notebook and clicking on "properties", however, no option was available there too. Hoping you could provide some way out. Thanks.

am about to follow you on your jurney with evernote. I tried it a couple of month ago but was not happy with their pdf-reader. How do you work with pdfs in evernote? (I know there is a difference for pro users, I still have a pro account, that came with my tablet). Thank for the great content and effort. Regards from Germany

My computer wasn't opening Evernote after I downloaded until I let it open with their chosen application, Microsoft Edge. Once I allowed it to use Edge, it opened Evernote, but it is not set up like yours. It is black on left side and instead of icons at left like you have, it has tabs across top. I entered Settings a different way. What did I do wrong?

When I click on my Evernote email address next to "Email Notes to" in settings nothing happens, just a click and then nothing.I am using Chrome. So, how do I get an email window to open as it did for you in your tutorial? Thanks for the help. JB - Oh, and I am using the Premium version of Evernote.

When I click email it asks if I want to open microsoft outlook. I dont use that. I just use Gmail. Am I missing a step?
