After watching your back to basics series for Evernote, I realized I needed to take a breath and re-think the paradigm of notes and notebooks. My wife and I share an Evernote account to store our household info and we had it all jumbled up. So much to do, but so useful.

Hi Carl: Love your stuff. The #1 problem with Evernote, the ONE issue that keeps it from taking a huge leap in popularity, is the lack of being able to make more than one-deep folders within Stacks. The fact that Evernote does not do this is nonsensical. Even one or two more levels would make a monumental difference for most users. It would make it FAR easier for beginners to grasp the basics and then to learn its power. Evernote cripples its own software.

Hi Carl great series I have a question - I have nested notebooks how do you keep the top notebook free of notes and only nested notebooks hold notes. All my notes appear in the top notebook as well as the target notebook regardless of where I put them in the stack.

thanks for these. i have been on EV for years, like it. has also used OneNote, the only thing I like about one note is the way it is set up with folders and sub folders much like my desk file. I have asked a few times on other forums on how to do this, tags etc. Most answers have been lacking. could you address this issue, please?

How are the notebooks in Evernote different than the folders in Apple Notes? Both contain your notes so what is the difference?

Carl, great videos. Enjoyed your Todoist series. Just wondering if you'll be covering using Evernote with Todoist?

Carl, I like your videos. I currently only have the Basic Free Account. 1) Can you tell me how to reduce my upload limit so that I don't run out of space or limits before the month is over. 2) What takes up or eat up space, i.e. does attaching documents, pictures chew up space. 3) Does deleting notes count against my upload disk storage, if so should I never delete any notes. 4) Can you do a video on how to maximize a Basic Account storage / upload. Thanks
