This was a great help. I was a little hesitant to watch at first because I wanted to back up my Evernote account and I did not want to get anywhere near purging my notes. I have invested too much time on them. :)

I'm using a tool called Backupery for Evernote to back up my Evernote. Works good so far ... The main advantage is that it works automatically in background with no interruptions

it's that time. I have over 4, 000 notes after 2 years. having a listen and "taking notes" haha on how-to do this!

Hi Carl, I am getting this error when trying to export my notes from Evernote to my external hard disk. "The operation couldn't be completed. Permission denied." I am using a Mac. Can you please help. Thanks.

5000 Notes have 3 times as many.  Great episode.  That is exactly how I back up.  Still trying decide how to purge notes or even if I want to though :)
