On your cumulative frequency graph, how can you be sure to plot cf=0 when x=5? Couldn't those 5 frequencies in the 5/< x < 6 be located where x=5?

Also why do we use a curved graph? Wouldn't joining the points together with straight lines make more sense as there is more of an even distribution within the intervals?

Does cumulative frequency graph need continuous data or or can we plot without, editing it to make it continues, help would be appreciated.
