This modern nightstand / side table is a prototype version of what we're designing for our very first in person workshop. Our goal is to create a piece that covers a lot of woodworking techniques that participants will be able to translate into other projects moving forward. We also want it to be something that looks good, is achievable to a variety of skill levels, and people are excited about building and taking home with them! Love all your videos and I'd like to see a whole lot more in the future so PLEASE lower your saw blade when making cuts. If you had kickback, you're done for with the blade that high. It only takes 10 seconds to lower but less that one second to lose your fingers.

Personally I prefer the design of the completed project as to the proposed future class project. I guess it's the added stretchers that I like more. Makes the piece appear stronger and a little more substantial.
