Apple Pay scam: Scammers use app to rip off NYC bodegas

An elaborate scheme involving the Apple Pay app is impacting bodegas across New York City.

The United Bodegas of America released surveillance video of the scam artists in action.

A group just try to do this scam at my store. They made an excuse saying the iPhone is broken - apple contactless pay doesn't work then show the back glass is cracked. They then have an app open that shows the card # and all the info then attempt to manually input it. My cashier ain't falling it and told them to not touch the keypad but he keep ignores the instruction and attempt the input.

The scammer was very persistent and even pull out the racist card to get have me to convince the cashier to do it and offer to show me an out of state ID which I think is fake. This the 2nd time I've experienced a scam like this and both times they would say I have this machine like that's suppose to be a convincing reason.

Raquel mom slapped Raquel dad girl friend and fighting Raquel dad, the police came after midnight, I said" somebody could have died, Raquel mom, dad and his girlfriend was gone from my apartment on 71st Champlain.
