Y’all need to remember that her Producers at the time didn’t let her pick the singles. Swifties are known for making a song popular within the fandom like Cruel summer and Dress. New Romantics is popular within the fandom. I think Taylor was finally able to convince her Label to let her pick it as a single after she proved it was a hit.
