Yess...happens to me all the time. I'm Viet, but people always think I'm Filipino, Thai, Hawaiin, or Cambodian because I'm dark skinned. One time I responded back and immediately their response "OMG....U Viet-NA-mese!?!? U no look like...we thought u Filipino??" 🤣😶

But it would have been hilarious if you had called someone or gotten a phone call right after she said that & started speaking in Vietnamese.
