How to QUICKLY set bicycle seat height

Thank you all for joining me for my annual vacation trip. I thought this was the perfect time to try out a shorter/less edited video that dispenses a little cycling knowledge. I use this method of adjust my seat height on a bicycle any time I use a bike that is not mine and has flat pedals. It gets my leg extension close enough to my proper bike fit that I am comfortable riding for a few hours.

One thing that I might add regarding seat post, in case it's fixed seat post on mountain bike: I generally don't fully extend my knee when my heel is on the pedal, my seat is just little bit lower that optimal, like one centimeter or so. I can still pedal efficiently well, but still have room enough to move front and back, to shift weight on rough terrain or descent and such. unrelated to the video, but previously I have asked you on some racing stuff, bit of an update. This weekend I did my first MTB race, 35km loop up and down and around Olympic mountain Jahorina with 1000m of elevation, three days after crashing on last ride before the event. Joined for fun, went in blind, with not pre ridden the trail, found out some parts were really testing my 100mm Giant XTC SLR 1. Terrain was so rough that I lost my water bottle in first kilometers, and first aid station was at 12th kilometer, which led to me spending more energy than I would have (it was 34 degrees Celsius). I kept my own pace, enjoying the views, finished race in one piece with huge grin. Haven't bothered to check the score, but today I found out I ended up second in over 40 age group. Hilarious. Thing is, if I pushed my self more to the limit I knew I can keep up, instead chatting with some folks, I could've shed 10ish minutes from my result. not bad. and this was so fun! Plus, being 191cm and 104kg didn't hindered me as much as I thought it would. now, enjoy your vacation :)
