This performance is a clip from the Gala Concert of the "Russian Winter" Arts Festival at the State Kremlin Palace of Congresses in Moscow. USSR, Central Television, 1965.

I am Polish living in USA. I've been comming here for years, again and again, to listen to "Kalinka" and other songs. But I like "Kalinka" the best and I memorized text of the song. Love this song, love the words in russian, loved the music. The song goes really deep into my heart and it makes me happy, and it gives me joy, and it is full of life. Spurce (sosneczka) means life. Beautiful song and perfect performance.
