Every day, I use both an M2 12.9” iPad Pro in space gray with the space gray Magic Keyboard and an M4 11” iPad Pro in silver with white Magic Keyboard. Hands down, the silver/white combo is MUCH easier to keep clean; after 5 months of heavy daily use it still looks brand new. It always looks clean, with little maintenance. The space gray combo shows tons of oil, dirt, grime, fingerprints, etc. Which combo looks nicer or is more premium is obviously subjective. But which combo stays clean/new looking and is easier to maintain? The clear winner is the silver/white combo.

I got the 2018 space grey ipad pro, but 2 years ago, I got a silver Macbook pro, which really does have better fingerprints/grease/scratches proof. So I would go for the silver new ipad pro.

I got the silver white combo. For some reason it looks much better than my previous black combo…not a big deal, but makes the whole thing seem more premium and more technical? The pencil does blend in better which may be a plus or minus depending on tastes.

I think the combination of silver and white magic keyboard is really good. But iPad silver is annoying to watch videos because of the silver border on the outside of the bezel. So I'm thinking about buying space black. What should I buy? What do you think? Should I just consider it and buy silver? I don't like space black and black magic keyboard too much. But I'm only thinking about the silver border of iPad silver

I love your presentation. But I have a question though which you didn’t mention. I have been debating on this for a long time. I have a silver iPad Pro M4 13”. Considering you don’t see the smudges on the silver keyboard, what can you say about the outside rubber material on the white keyboard? Don’t they get dirty easier compared to the black one? And how do you clean them if ever since you chose white Magic Keyboard? I would appreciate if you can respond to this. I truly want to buy a keyboard. Just having a tough time making a decision. Thank you.

I have space grey m1 with black Magic Keyboard- but im leaning toward Space black m4 with white keyboard 😅

I really like the look of the space black but…. I think I’m gonna upgrade to the silver/white Magic Keyboard again just because after 2 years white really is much easier to keep clean than the black :/

i have a silver ipad pro 13 inch with black keyboard so it would match my m1pro macbook silver with u know comes with black based keyboard and i love the contrast tbh.

Great comparison! Totally agree 1st world problem, lucky enough to even consider one.
Space Black for me, will use a white folio so fingerprints are not an issue when handling & a black MKB to match the desk setup!

I thought the Space Gray was the best balance and preferred choice between Space Black and Silver deterred me from buying a new M4 iPad Pro. I’ve seen how nasty the white keys can become, so I’ve never wanted white keys. I suppose I could still clean them with a tougher solution, and it’s hard to say I’ll be able to wait for the next iPad Pro release, so I’ll probably end up with Silver as I prefer the overall Magic Keyboard appearance. Now the white Soft Touch…. that’s a REALLY hard choice to accept.

I really don’t know do I have the silver or the space black I watched 1000 videos I can’t decide who is better I don’t really wanna keyboard just I wanna the iPad can you help me what to choose pls ?

Both are classy colours, you can never go wrong with black but darker colours tend to hide design details. Now the ipad doesn't have much details but just generally speaking. Fingerprints can be wiped away frequently and i wont let that decide which colour i would get however annoying that maybe. But i really prefer the silver variant and you didnt talk about its biggest advantage. It wont show scratches as easily as the black one. Currently i have the silver M1 pro 11 inch. I was about to get the silver M4 11 inch too for its amoled display(better contrast and deeper blacks) but then my Samsung s21 plus got the green line issue. So considering the new ipad is also Amoled and the screen is provided by samsung and it has two amoled panels(tandem oled) i decided against it

I got the space black IPad Pro and Magic Keyboard. I opted to get black Dbrand skins for both. Win/win
