I bought the iPad 13 inch in Space Black, but after seeing your video, I went the next day to the Apple Store and changed it for the silver color. Huge difference in the fingerprints! The dark color was always full of fingerprints and looked dirty all the time, as you mentioned in this video. Thank you for the advice!

Very helpful, thank you! 🙏 an additional point for me is that the black color seems to merge optically better with the black bezels when the iPad is in front of me. It’s a tiny detail, yet it looks smoother to me, from a design perspective.

Interesting. I went with black/black because at the Apple Store, the white Magic Keyboard always looked grimy. 🤷‍♂️

Anyway, the screen/bezel are always black so I wanted it all to match.

The only issue I’ve had with silver vs space grey and now space black is the silver frame of the iPad draws your eyes/attention away from the screen especially when watching a movie or something. Space gray or black gives you the look of a borderless screen which silver does not. And I’ve had them both through the years. With that being said the Magic Keyboard definitely looks nicer in white/silver. Although it looks dirty after a while, in regard to the outside material. When speaking of finger prints on the iPad back, why are you using it without some sort of protection. I never take the case off.

i wanted to buy the silver iPad with the white magic keyboard as i do it with my M1 iPad Pro, but the white keyboard with the Space Black iPad looks so sick :D. Now i must rethink :D

I was in the Apple store last week looking at both colours of the iPad Pro and also the magic keyboard, and I was especially mindful that this was the first week of seeing these in the flesh, so they were very silver and white configuration definitely looked better and less finger smudgy. My main concern over time, though, is if the white keyboard will look dirtier, especially the underside where it's placed and could pick up lots of marks on coffee tables never owned one before, but I kind of get the impression that cleaning the magic keyboard isn't as viable as you would think, any thoughts?

I am on the exact same page as you. My last iPad Pro was Space Grey with the black Magic Keyboard, and the keyboard got disgustingly smudgy. This time, I ended up buying the Silver 13-inch iPad Pro M4 with the White Magic Keyboard, and I love it. Also, the Pencil blends really well with the rest of the setup.

3:31 you are absolutely true! I feel like I want to buy black color because to be in the trend but then later the way it looks so dirty wants me to go back to silver! Silver is my safety net
