There is a thing which I would like to clear out here.

You can give OET at any time and multiple times (valid for 2 years only)
But for Plab-1 and Gmc signup to get Plab-1 seat, you require starting and ending dates of Mbbs. So, its a necessity that you complete your Mbbs prior to plab-1.

You can give plab-1 after completion of Mbbs which I suggested and did myself the same. I hope things are more clear now.
