PLAB and MRCP examinations are two important routes to obtain GMC registration for IMG doctors in the UK. MRCP offers the added advantage of being a post-graduate exam for medicine and a mandatory requirement to apply for higher specialty training in medical specialties. In this video, I have explained how to choose the most appropriate exam based on your personal circumstances.

Hello. Its been 4 years i have passed MBBS and internship in India and have been working as a medical officer at Apollo Hospital in the dept of Clinical Hematology and BMT unit. Due to some personal reasons I couldn’t study for NEETPG. I wish to study Clinical Hematology in UK. What would be the right exam for me to write at this stage and subsequently to become a Clinical Hematologist?

Hello sir, MRCP is an exam equivalent to PG degree in india with a lot more clinical exposure... My question is which are the subjects offered in MRCP ? Is it only offer internal medicine or also offer cardiology, neurology, nephrology etc which are taught as DM courses in India? Can anyone do MRCP on cardiology and practice here in India as a cardiologist ?
