I hope you are happy but if price wasn't a factor, you would live in Sarasota. There are very nice places in Sarasota that are not expensive. You have to find them but they are nice. It's a great life up here.

From Venice ...being 20 minutes away from Sarasota....why move? Maybe if you need to work full time ?? But Venice is the place to live and relax. ⛱️
