Thank you for this very interesting video. It will help me greatly. I am a little older than you but was a skirts/dresses only person (religious reasons) until fairly recently. I am now comfortable in dress pants but found it difficult to buy a pair of jeans that fitted and were comfortable. I am nervous about "the rear view"

Wedgie Bootcut is my favorite. The dad baggy one I disliked. I think they would be good if you have higher heel, because they make legs look so short.

Isn't levis super expensive in new york city though? I order them online... but I'm guy wearing ribcage, I guess it would look weird if a man started measuring them in a store 😂
