Just days out from her first debate with Donald Trump, Vice President Harris sat down for her first interview since becoming the Democratic nominee and offered a preview of how she might handle attacks on her identity. NBC News' Gabe Gutierrez, Garrett Haake, New York Times White House correspondent Michael Shear and Washington Post political investigative reporter Josh Dawsey join Katy Tur to weigh in.

I feel that brushing Trump's innuendo and lies off, is a good response from Kamala. At the same time I think behavior like his slagging off of Hillary and Kamala should be addressed in the courts. We need our young people to see what is not appropriate in life. Right now they see a canditate getting away with hate speech and vitriole.
