Direct objects follow action verbs and they receive the action of the verb. Indirect objects instead, tell to or for who and to or for what the verb's action is done. In this lesson, Mr. P. will explain direct and indirect objects using easy examples and give an exercise with its key at the end of the lesson. He will also explain what transitive and intransitive verbs are.
This lesson is designed for intermediate students who wish to improve their English grammar and those above levels who wish to clarify doubts about this topic.

Shawn liked my lesson on direct object.
My lesson - direct object
We don't have an indirect object as the sentence ends with a prepositional phrase.

Thank you!

The verb like in sentence number 7 is considered as an intranstive verb becouse its related with feeling and emotion so we can say its state verb. Thank you very much for your efforts.

Shawn liked my lesson on direct object. This sentence doesn have an indirect object because the verb of the sentence, like, is linking veb. The linking verbs always don't have an indirect object.
