"for Ice to be reforged, ultimately represents a loss not just of a weapon but also of a crucial piece of Stark identity." That's Hit hard

While the loss of Ice was indeed a tragic moment, I love the thought of Jon reviving House Stark with Longclaw as its new treasure.

Tywin really loved to erase every trace possible of his enemies

Melting down Ice was objectively not Tywin's greatest crime, but damm...

I don't see the point of bringing that sword to King's Landing. Ned should have left it in Winterfell.

tywin wanted valerian steel for the longest time after theirs was lost. i didn’t realise the first time watching that it was ice that he broke down

I still think it would be awesome if they reforged them. Widows Wail and Oathkeeper coming together again as a sign of peace.

Only 400 years? I though Ice was far more old.

The two swords should've been melted down and reforged back into one blade at the end of the show

Dark side of me wanted them to put Ice into the hands of Ser Gregor. I like to imagine the havoc and devastation he'd cause.

Tywin loved to control power where he thought the lanesters did not have in the past. Furthermore, the lanesters were always known for the gold, but not their wit or their loyalty. Tywin knew how to play until he realized he biggest mistake….

Yet more evidence for why Eddard Stark was probably the worst lord of Winterfell. His actions did more harm to his family than anything else.

To be fair, it wasn't the original Ice, but named after the original

Why did ned bring it to kingslanding in the first place

Ice is daddy when it comes to the sword game no sword is monstrous as ICE. Quick question did Ned recommend for ice to behead him ? Or Jeffery already had it ready for him ?

There is a very strong expected theory that the sword "longclaw" that jon snow holds is actually "blackfyre" the legendary sword of Aegon Targaryan. If thats true, then Aegon's sword is back at Aegon

OathKeeper will return to Stark hands sooner than later, Ice was a waste, why make a Valyrian Steel sword that can only be used for execution

Tyrion should have had a gruesome ending . He was let off east for how evil he was

Ned was executed with his own sword?? Yikes. I missed that detail.
