Jessica compares her dad to Buddy Sorrell from the Dick Van Dyke show and Robin Williams.
Jessica talks about how hard it was for her in the beginning of her dad's disease and she explains the changes she saw in him. Jessica tells stories about Hank's aggression and the reality of Lewy Body Dementia that people don't talk about.
This shows the painful truth about Lewy body dementia , living with Lewy body dementia and what it is like caring for someone with Lewy body dementia.

I’ll comment all day. O respect and admire you all! And the ability to separate the illness from the person is so vital…

My brother has dementia but not LB. He is progressing rapidly. He can't talk has trouble walking. Gets frustrated. He's almost like a toddler when it comes to taking instructions. I'm his only living sibling and he's in a skilled nursing facility about 5 miles from me so I go see him every day. Thank you for sharing your story. It's an encouragement to me. God bless your family. ❤️

I love to see how you can discuss all these things. When I look at Hank, I see my husband's face and the lack of expression. And the anger definitely came out. And to hear him apologize was something my husband couldn't do. It is awesome. God is truly blessing your family. I don't know why, but watching you two helps me now that my husband is gone. Thank you for doing this.

Just love your Father-Daughter joke. Shows so much love and compassion as you relate the changes and I'm sure you will help others with your testimony. Praise God that you finally found medical help that truly wanted to help with diagnosis and treatment.

I appreciate you sharing how it made you feel dealing with the moods. That had to be very hard as a teenager. Loved the joke made me laugh!

It still is hard even though you know it is the LBD. My dad has been gone for 10 years, but this brings back a lot of memories. My prayers are with you and your family on this journey.

Jessica, so nice to meet you. Your points really got me thinking about some things. Thank you for joining your parents

The stories you tell, are my story too, My husband is not diagnosed with LBD but he fits the pattern, if you will. Your talk tonight about aggression was so mild compared to what I have experienced. He is in a VA program now for Alzheimer’s but does not fit that pattern. I worry that his treatment for Alzheimers may not benefit LBD.

Glad to hear the Oreo story. Sometimes it’s like a 2 year olds tantrum. Happy to know I’m not the only one.
