I n the last several decades, eyewitness testimony has come under greater scrutiny. Since 1989, some 329 people have been exonerated based on DNA tests, according to the Innocence Project, a nonprofit legal organization. Each of the wrongfully convicted spent an average of 16 years in prison, and 75% of them were put away largely on the basis of eyewitness testimony.

I only got 5, but didn't write down sleep. Does that make me a good witness or just poor memorizer?

DO NOT READ COMMENTS UNTIL AFTER TEST!

I got 11 and added the word in the middle of the list, so I failed.  Imagine being a teen, fatigued after 12 hours of hostile questioning in an interrogation room!

Hmm interesting. I wrote 10, but I didn't write sleep. But when you said there was sleep, I had second thoughts.. then I believed there was sleep and just forgot to write it. But actually there wasn't and my memory still tells me that there was sleep.

I watched this while in bed getting ready to doze, slumber, dream, snooze, nap in my bed because I am drowsy.. Off to sleep now.

I instantly knew "sleep" wasn't one of the words.

I was so sure about sleep, I put it twice lol

I didn't use sleep. I just created a logical chain between the words he said as a story and then could remember most of them.

I write down :
Bed, Awake, Blanket, Doze,Yawn,Tired,Snore
When he said there was sleep, I also had second thoughts .
I tend to remember that I was going to write sleep after Bed but I didn't, and I don't know why.

I assume it's pretty unusual that I passed the test without a pen or paper, because as you read the words I had the thought "oh all of these are related to sleep"

I wrote asleep with a question mark next to it because I wasn't sure if you said it or not... Not exactly sleep but basically the same thing

Daaang, I sucked at this! I got 5. 5! I also added "sleep" and "lay", and I thought he said "rest" twice, but he actually said "awake" and "wake", and I got everything confused. What a mindfuck lmao

I wrote 10 of them.
9 were right, but I mistook rest for sleep.
I really knew he said something in an order like, go to bed, rest, than wake up tired like everyday. But I couldn't remember what was the word. Was it lay down, sleep? I couldn't remember so I put sleep becouse it was the first thing that came into my mind. Still, I got many right.
9 out of 15 is not bad actually.

It was so easy to deduce what the catcher would be based on the title.

I wrote down 10 words, but I was biased because I have read quite a lot today about witness testimony as I have to make a research paper for my exams.

This is not the same, this is just memory recall, most of us don't go past 9 words or numbers.
