How To Adjust The Fit Your Touring Kayak

I made this video in response to a few post I saw online. Customers with their brand new touring kayaks totally misadjusted. Fit is everything when you get into touring kayaks. You want your kayak to become a part of you, an extension of your body. If you're not adjusted and talking to your kayak, you're missing out on so much fun!

Thank you. Wife bought me a pelican 120 and I have never gone out in one or read up on it.
I'm 61 yes old, 250lbs and needless to say had a very bad experience... here's where you come in...
You showed foot rest adjustments (did not know I even had them)
Backrest adjustments. Knees.
I was ready to sell the kayak, but now I'm looking forward to the next adventure.

Good info but I love watching you and your son kayaing together. I started both my children out kayaing at the age three. I would put them in the back hatch with an airbag as a back rest. My daughter is 22 yrs old and my son is 19yrs old. We all still paddle together. Of course they have their own boats now and those are my most enjoyable memories. Thanks for sharing.
