Love making stencils with vinyl. At first I had to remember it was like reverse weeding so that I didn’t remove the wrong parts of the pattern. Now I love doing this.

I enjoy your tutorials. You are very clear and detailed. Why is stencil vinyl necessary? I have used pieces of regular vinyl that I have on hand and didn’t like the color.
