This car goes to 60kmh in first and to 100kmh in second gear with an amazing sound, that is why I love Honda

Wow, you really nailed it. I'm very impressed. I'm going to buy Civic VIII 1.8 as my first car and I can't wait to drive it.

I had a hard time chosing beteen the 2.2 cdti and the 1.8 i-vtec. The diesel has a great torque advantage in the low rev ranges. But as I like to rev high from time to time, I eventually went for the 1.8 i-vtec. It's both quick en economic in the 2000 - 3500 rev range, but at the cost of fuel economy you do get great fun past the 4000 rev marque. When I look at the speedometer, the car is surprisingly fast from that revs on, but you never get the feel of it as the engine does not starts to scream as earlier Honda engines did.
bot for driving over german high ways against speeds of 180 km/h and higher, it's a very competent car.
I never have tanked octane 98, as the fuel cap says 95, so I doubt the engine will deliver more with the more expensive octane 98, but it could be.

I'm looking to buy this car with the 1.8 engine. I think it's one of the most reliable engines you can have on a car.

I am an owner of a Type S in Greece and unfortunately it is going to a junkyard because of electronic problems that are very expensive to fix it is the best civic ever with a beast engine but electronic problems were there by the moment i bought it and gasoline is now very expensive in Greece so now i guess i am going to buy a hybrid or something i really loved my Type S but Greece is not an appropriate country to have a car with 1.800 cc rip my love💔
