My daughter busted her ass both in the classroom as well as the track. She earned a half athletic, half academic scholarship. She did everything she had to and we supported her through it all. Why the f should I have to pay for someone else's schooling?

That's not fair. They went to school knowing that they have to pay for their school bill. That's too much!!!

So, basically, those who went into the trades are being asked to pay for those who went to university. On what planet does this make sense?

The second they say, 'thank you for that question'. Something really stupid is getting ready to spew out of their mouth.

Miguel Cardona is an amazing politician, never answering the question that was asked. The propaganda coming of Miguel Cardonas mouth here is insane.

Student loan cancelation would be the colleges eating the debt. What is proposed is shifting the Ballance of the loans to people who went to work instead of college. It's wrong . Totally wrong.

They're not fixing anything. I've been working at small affordable colleges for over 10 years now. The cost of college is high because of out of control spending by schools. If students chose where they went based on cost, it would fall across the country. Instead the government is artificially keeping the costs up. You give schools or students more money and it only makes budgets larger and more expensive.

This guy is amazing. How did a former teacher become such a polished politician. He didn't answer a single question.

If the teachers actually teach, and not indoctrinate, those students wouldnt think that they were okay to default on loans

"There are too many students in this country that think college is out of reach for them."

No, there are too many students attending colleges. There are way too many worthless degree's, as students are finally finding out, offered at colleges which will give someone a degree, with no education. Those students who really need to get to college, and will benefit society (I don't think a degree in African Dance History benefits society) will probably end up getting a full ride scholarship.

Here is a tip for all of you college grad's who can't find a job, go to a technical college (very inexpensive) and learn welding, plumbing, cabinet making, to be an electrician, etc. You'll find yourself, if you are proficient, making six figures within five years or, owning your own business in ten.

About to default on country debt and taxpayers ( people without the college salary) will pay off their student loans. It was a debt students made to make a bigger paycheck. Why should someone who works at McDonald's pay on college students' loans? Where is the DEI?

The school system is broken, they don’t need more funds they need to change policies. I see school districts spending 3-4x the national average in some areas but no results In students doing better. In Baltimore they couldn’t find but a few students in over 2000 schools that could read, write, or do math at grade level. Something has to change and students should not be running these schools.
