What I loved about BB is that there was never a clif-hanger so you could never assume what might happen from week to week. Each episode came to a conclusion.

Sure he was a bit more square at the outset of the series but you could tell there was darkness in him right from the pilot. I think the show was less about him fundamentally changing and more about him letting his true feelings come out. The bitter resentment that had haunted him for years.

Tony soprano did have a change, he went from a repent villain soul-searching for a way out of the dark into an unrepentant villain looking to stay in the dark, it’s a subtler change

Look up this episode with Bryan Cranston, it is called DRIVE & very intense! He can’t stop driving in a certain direction otherwise his wife will die & Mulder & Scully try to figure out why 👽
