He delivers his words beautifully, in a similar way to how Sinatra sings. One noticed this when watching Breaking Bad. I fancied that just as, at college years ago, I had STILL sympathised with Macbeth at the end of the play (perhaps because of his nice speeches), perhaps Walter White's beautiful, educated enunciation in a similar way contributed (among other things) to the character holding my sympathy.
