Looks like a lot of fun. Reminds me a lot of the county fairs we have here in rural America....but with A LOT more horses 😮

Can normal folks go to this fair or is it for travelers only

Went there once.NEVER again. Filthy disgusting treatment of horses. The only bath each year in a river. The RSPCA are not there for no reason.

I always wanted to go. Then when I went I was so disappointed at the ignorance of these people. They had no respect for the town or people. Thought they were above the law. The safety of one child hanging on to its mother while the stupid bloke steering this horse and trap were mental. A young lass around 16 in a pair of cut off jeans into shorts no underwear. So short you could see too much as she rode bare back down the road. I left so disappointed with these people knowing I woukd hate to live in Appleby because of them. Horrible.
