That’s not a culture it’s a crime wave. Unless you have experience of it first hand then you have no idea how dangerous it can be, especially for teenage girls and boys of the town. The girls regularly get assaulted and the boys are beaten up by gangs of them. They don’t do themselves any favours with the local community. I usually close my shop and go on holiday when they arrive, it’s just not worth the hassle. If I didn’t have such deep roots here I would have left long ago.

I live in Britain....actually quite close to this area. And I know that this horse fair is utter shit. It’s horrid, they’re so cruel to the horses and nasty

What I find amazing is the people that follow the travellers around and nick stuff. Because wherever travellers go, things go missing from sheds and gardens etc. It's never the travellers of course, so who are these ninja thieves that seem to shadow the poor travellers wherever they go and give them an undeserved bad reputation??

I built a bowtop wagon and bought a 21 year old Clydesdale in New Zealand in 1970s and wandered the length of the country.. and my mare had a foal at the end of the journey!!  and everyone was happy to see me..offering hay and free paddocks to graze... NZ is the best place to do this!  But dont tell everyone...
