My only gripe is one with all these reviews. Everyone seems to spend 1/3 of the entire review focusing on the aesthetics, like the finish, where buttons and jacks are, weight, smell, box color, how many baggies things come wrapped in, and why do i care how the battery goes in? Yes, as a geek, I'm interested in this stuff, but it seems like everyone's going WAY out of their way to fill up time in their review, as if to compensate for lack of useful info.

My Droid 2 has been through hell and back, and somehow, it still works. Who needs a battery cover anyway?

@cmoney333 good but I think what he was trying to say is that you need to push it all the way up, not like BB Torch, Desire Z where a slight push-over/nudge will snap-open into place.

@rinkmeifucan im not sure but apparently when they looked into it, it was just cracked and the glass scratched his ear when he was talking to it, because when they opened it up none of the parts were damaged just the glass on the outside.

Droid 2 vs. Droid Pro...Any suggestions? I am in the military so I like how the Droid Pro is global ready, but it seems by switching from the original Motorola Droid to the Droid Pro I may not like the smaller screen and cluttered qwerty keyboard. Any suggestions or feedback on both? Thanks.

That isn't the stock Android keyboard, by the way. It's the Droid X's multitouch keyboard included in Motorola's Widget UI.
