This Nodus Sector GMT might be my new favorite GMT for under $500

Duly noted on the clasp. We are already tooling for the next version, with tighter tolerances, updated design, and milled components. Thanks for checking out the Sector GMT! Hope you enjoyed your time with it.

PS - will be in Seattle in a couple of weeks - would love to hit up Fremont Brewing and catch up😎

Nodus watches are awesome. These guys pour their souls into these watches and it always shows. Their watches are not just a spec list. I hope they continue to grow and receive the appreciation they deserve.

Nodus has always caught my eye with beautiful designs. Until recently, the watches have been a bit too large to suit me. But with the latest releases Nodus has really nailed it. I purchased a Sector Pilot recently. For $500 it is outstanding. Not only is the dial gorgeous, but the bracelet is truly impressive at that price.

Very beautiful watch, especially that it’s 38mm. The dial color is very beautiful. Thanks Max.

My main issue with the Seiko was its size. It was a pretty large diameter. So seeing this at 38mm makes it a very feasible option for people like me.

Nice to see a gmt without a dive bezel. Thanks!

The dial and handset were inspired by the Hermes H08.

Finally... someone is making a GMT that doesn't look like a dive watch. This is going on my short list.

My first thought was it's similar to the Farer Lander IV. Both look terrific.

I am pleased to see the trend to offer sub 40mm watch cases. Like my Hamilton "Murph" 38mm, the Nodus Sector is an excellent size. Nice offering Nodus.

So nice to see an original design. Nothing wrong with micro brands, but so many just churn out derivative designs as you point out so well. This one is too small for me unfortunately as anything sub 40mm looks uncomfortable on my wrist size, but I know it’s what so many people look for.

I love this! Perfect travel vacation watch. 38mm, no bezel, 100m water resistance with screw down crown and under 13mm thick. Plus not a super will known brand so no one will chop your wrist off for it!

This, the new Traska Venture GMT, Farer Lander GMT and the Monta Atlas GMT all really have my eye for a vacation watch!

Actually pretty cool. there is something about sector dials that make them another level against traditional ones.

First watch I'm going to buy outside of my Seiko and Omega - thanks for the review.

I get JLC AMVOX vibes from the dial layout.

Dunno about this one: right now, about the only thing about this Sector (and I generally like the Sector line overall) that I think scores over the 5 GMT is the case diameter, but the 42-and-a-smidgeon size of the Seiko isn't a deal-breaker, even though my tastes are drifting toward 40mm-and-under. Dial and hands are decent, but not quite knocking me out. Finally, the 5 can manage *three* time zones via both the 24H chapter ring and rotating 24H bezel. Yeah, they stuck a Hardlex crystal on it (cyclops and all), but they *did* extend that Hardlex to the bezel as well, which simply classes the thing up. If I do follow through with a GMT this year, and assuming I don't land on an unexpected windfall, I'm popping for the Seiko.
