This scene made me so sad I knew it would be over for Ruth once I saw it, she got to say goodbye too her family one last time

My favorite scene. I interpreted as her family was basically all dead and she’d soon be joining them . Very moving imo

Notice how in her fantasy she has Wyatt's blanket to sit on which disappears when she snaps back to reality. This is symbolic of the comfort Wyatt gave to Ruth in life.

Unexpectedly awesome John Prine cover and the perfect song for the best scene of the finale.

The way this song was sung was absolutely amazing. I loved this scene too. It is definitely my favorite from Ozark. I’ve watched this at least 100 times. I wish this was available on Apple Music. John Prines original version is phenomenal, but this is better.

I think I'll always come back to watch this scene. I know that feeling Ruth has when she walks out of her camper. You love everyone around you in that moment and you feel warm

"Why do we need a pool? You always need a pool. We got a lake right there. You don't know the first thing about being rich." That gets me everytime!

Russ is so attractive! I feel bad for Three here, knowing he's the last Langmore, but maybe very wealthy and safe, finally.

This song and scene together is one of those anomalies in life that can make you smile, or cry, at the same time.

Foreshadowing at its best. She was doomed from the start.

Ruth did what every generation that came before her thought was impossible in overcoming the stigma of her last name. Once she was done carrying those bricks she was able to see beauty and happiness and all things, even her messed-up family and her troubled past... One hell of a character and one played to perfection.

This scene with the music is amazing and gives me the melancholy nostalgia feels. Only thing that compares is the sopranos scene with the Johnny Thunders song

As sad as this scene is, I think it’s one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. It has since become one of my favorite scenes of all time. I’ve always loved the song Angels from Montgomery. There are many versions, but this one holds a special place in my heart and truly was the perfect song choice and an excellently executed cover. It all comes together to make something special while foreshadowing upcoming events and once again proves why Ozark was such a hit

I cried like a little girl during this scene

I don't know why, but I cried on this scene. Many people enter our lives and make us make decisions that hurt the relationship with our loved ones. Sadly, we wish we have those loved ones next to us some days, but it is too late. This is my viewing of this scene.
