If anyone needs modification to the layout, I'll tell you what works and what doesn't work:
Single door does work, you still have to have the white wool below to be 2x2 though.
Change of width does work, just make it from like "6" to your width.
Flipping the side of the door does work, just make sure the two blocks at the end of your door wool are flipped so the one with the redstone torch faces your mechanism.

Tip: If you place a block to the left of where Cubey told you not to, then place a block on top of that block and a lever on the Block on top of the block to the left of the area Cubey told you not to place the block, once you flick the lever it will lock the doors from the inside and no combination can open it until you unactivate the lever! :D

TO MAKE A DOOR THAT CLOSES, simply replace any one of the levers to a button. The button will only activate the door when all the other levers are in the correct combination. Then add a button on the other side of the door so you can leave and not be locked in. Hope this helps.

Double the levers, and the amount of combinations is about the same as the amount of colors visible to the human eye!
