Pro tip: you can add extra levers around it that don't actually do anything but confuse those who don't know.

An easy way to break past locked doors is called TNT. U can even use their lock lever to ignite it

The ad was for a home security company. Well-played, YouTube.

I first looked at this video thinking to myself "hes making it complicated". I then quickly changed my mind when he showed the workings of it as I didnt think that the other levers would be used for anything! this build is great! and can be even more improved by making time delays and buttons to make a not-so-simple keypad! thanks for the vid and merry christmas!

Note blocks would be a nice addition : )

I honesly have never been more excited to see Mumbo's videos. As long as it doesn't include slime blocks, most likely the circuit can be used on Xbox as of today! The first time I saw you could craft a hopper on Xbox, I nearly passed out.

Hey mumbo, I have a suggestion not so much for this series but as a redstone contraption. Have you though about doing a sort of floor combination lock (I.e the one in despicable me 2, or the pacifier) where you step on a pressure plate and it will give you the correct combination output sort of thing ( not explained it very well) but it could be a cool sort of idea

You don't use lever locks for bases, you use them for storage rooms.

Really great tutorial! I was fully expecting this to not work because this was 5 years ago but it did! :)

I think I'm gonna link this one up to a button, so you have to set the levers correctly, before pressing the button. And finally I'm gonna connect that with a timer, so that if an invader tried to get in but made the wrong combination, he will have to wait for 1 min before trying again (I could just make it so that you activate a trap when you do it wrong, but I'm afraid that one day I will do it wrong myself, and I don't want to fall into my own trap xD. Got some work to do Mumbo, thank you for giving me inspiration ;-)

Mumbo, I noticed on the second layer (the pink one) that you switched what you said and used Torches on the sections you wanted off and Dust on the section you wanted on. I note it worked, but it's worth mentioning.

this just makes a redstone clock that fizzles and dies

"Listen carefully". I didn't understand until I noticed you reversed the redstone torches on the bottom layer. With reason. I got it.

This is an interesting thing. You could also do something that if you put in the wrong code you have to wait a minute

The fact that this works 6 YEARS LATER is amazing (8*)

Favourite =) it seems a bit tricky to remember when you need dust or torch for the second and third layers...
