For anyone confused: This door uses a one-tick Redstone pulse to make the piston spit out the block it is holding. This feature only exists in the Java version, so this door doesn't work with this design on Bedrock without a system to flip the input.

Love the design. I have quite the amount of experience with secret bases (I'm the kind of person who makes a secret base in every creative world, even if it's single player), and this is the best one I've seen, but as it has been mentioned in the comments, this specific design only works in java, but there are ways of creating an entrance that blends in with the environment in bedrock, but they can get very complex. There are simpler ones that use a hopper minecart that is hidden in a specific block. Such designs like this always include at least one redstone torch, and they also usually require a line of hoppers and sometimes an item elevator of some sort. The nice thing about using a hidden hopper minecart for a redstone door is that you don't need a button or lever (a comparator is, however, necessary, and it is recommended to use a repeater with it too, as one item only sends a redstone signal one block). This means that you also must remember what block to throw an item at (you can mark the block, but keep in mind that other players may know about similar secret door designs and use your marker to get into your base if it is obvious that there is a secret door)

It’s actually very useful and convenient. If you think about it, this even surpasses the dirt hut trick since it’s faster, can’t tell what blocks are breaking, and everyone has a water bucket
