He could have easily just dunked and score 100 points a game but he showed his skill to prove he could do other things

Wilt ran a sub 4.4 40, had a 44 inch vertical, could lift over 600 pounds, and was 7’1. Every era would fear him

Man anyone notice how the older media never talk about or show Wilt ?? Hmm did Team Jordan try to bury the legacy of the other GOATs 👀

wilt didn't even have a 3 point line, but one coach opposing him said he watched him make 20/25 baskests from half court in practice, also. ther eis a video of him winning a 5 dollar bet making 4 straight baskets from what would be the three point line from the side of teh basket. wilt was stronger than shaq and could easily have dunked the ball an dscored 100 points a game probably. but he chose to showcase his skill more to shut people up.

For this video, just imagine how Tim Duncan would have played if he was much more athletic.

Thats one of the things that amazes me the most about Wilt.
He had unmatched physical/athletic superiority, could have dunked it all the time, but he chose to be versatile, even if that meant lower field goal percentage and baskets.
People kept begging him to play harder, like not withdrawing from a dunk knowing he could break peoples arms.
Imagine being such a force of nature and not just relying on it

He said himself he didn’t like dunking. He didn’t want to use just brute force. If he played like shaq there wouldn’t be a debate on the best of all time. He’d have averaged 70+ points

Tim Duncan got that bank shot from him

For the first half of the his career he tried to score, for the second half he concentrated on rebounding and passing. He is the most dominant player ever. He and Shaq. 50” vert. Sub 10 second 100 yard. Sub 11 100m.
