As a teen I'm not allowed to have my phone in my room at night and at first I was upset about that rule. But after a few times of sneaking my phone into my room I realized I feel horrible in the morning and overall very unmotivated. I like to write and read a book before going to bed now ❤

Ive struggled to be movtivated to do things, and for a long time, ive been wanting to go for walks, but i wouldnt. So my parents said i have to go on a walk, and bring my dog for just a 30 min walk, or she goes to the pound. ive been walking her everyday, she loves it, and when i go on my walks, i pray! time goes by fast, i enjoy nature, rain sounds, sun, trees, and just overall, gods creation. All you really need is self discipline, and if someone cant make you, You have to make yourself. I started mking my bed every morning for 2 weeks straight, and asstablished a good habit, and now i do it without thinking. Then i read my bible everyday, established a habit, took walks everyday, and i mean like doing it everyday for a long period of time, to where it become a HABIT. Now, its my everyday life. Start small, establish good habits, self disiplain, healthy lifestyle.

Sometimes need second option.
The first requires time, effort and motivation. And often we just get tired, burn out and don't want anything. And that's okay. There is no need to always chase the perfect picture and maintain balance.

Hi Anna! I’m 14 now, but I started working out and dieting when I was 12 to lose weight, even though I was perfectly healthy. Over time, I became so focused on “clean eating” that I cut out almost all carbs and only ate protein and veggies, which eventually affected my digestion and energy levels. I got so weak that I had to start eating more balanced meals, but then I swung to the other extreme—I’d get anxious and scared to go to social events, worried about eating “unhealthy” foods. My best friend and even my parents would make me feel guilty for being so strict about food, and while I did reach my body goals, it cost me my social life and peace of mind.

Thanks to your videos, I’ve learned so much about finding balance, and I realized I’m not alone in this journey. Seeing you focus on a balanced approach to health and fitness has really inspired me to let go of extreme thinking. Now, I’m working hard to find a happy medium, and I’ve already made a lot of progress. Thank you for being such a positive influence in my life! I hope my friends and family come to understand my journey too. Best of luck to you! 💗💗

The one on top is me on a school morning and the one on the bottom is me over the weekend. It’s good to relax and take it slow for a couple days before you jump right back into a fast paced day.

I try to stick to the top option. I can totally relate to the bottom one, as I've been there. I used to start my day from checking the phone, scrolling Facebook and Instagram, then I got up from bed sleepy and anxious. I also scrolled both feeds before I went to bed, so next day I was tired and angry for no reason. 2 months ago I stopped doing this, I started leaving my phone in the living room, so I don't take it to bedroom anymore. I start my day woken up by my smartwatch, then I go for a walk with my dog listening to an audiobook, and only after I return I make myself coffee and check if no one DMed me, no serious scrolling. And yes, I still have bad days sometimes, but this happens very rarely.
PS. Also I must admit that regular exercise does wonders to mental health. I've been working out with Anna for 2 months (before that I worked out with Grow With Jo) and I feel amazing! Totally recommend it to anyone.
