GUYS always remember thevenin theorem is nothing but an application of nodal and mesh analysis, it is not difficult practice more & more question to gain command on this topic

Could we just take value of Vth across the load terminals while calculating Rth instead of 1 V?

Sir, to calculate thevenin's resistance, we add voltage source at the terminal a-b. How about the polarity of the source?
