RIP Sixto Sugar Man. The passing of a legend

My wife is South African and she raved about him. Then guess what ? Sixto strolls in to the Albert Hall. We grabbed tickets - same night as the General Election as it happens. He strolls on and the Royal Albert Hall exploded. Will never forget it. A God. Amazing thing, as we know, is that he had no idea that he was huge in S Africa, Australia and elsewhere. 'What a night' as Dr John would have sang. Truly fantastic.

We saw him in Phoenix, AZ and he was having issues walking as his daughter helped him to the microphone! His voice was epic and an amazing Show! Thank you Sixto RIP

Rodriguez is an inspiration, uncorrupted and true to himself. I lived in Michigan in the 70s and 80s and even part of it in Detroit and I'm only now learning of him. A fine person.
