How Our FAMiLY of 10 celebrated HAiLEY’S 23rd Birthday 🎂 🥰

This is how we celebrated my daughter Hailey‘s 23rd birthday. It’s a tradition in our home that the night before we decorate for the birthday and then we get up and I make them breakfast and they get to pick where they wanna go to lunch. Even when they’re in school will take them out on the lunch date. We’ve been doing this since the kids were making sure that their day is special for them.

The boys were working, but they wanted to be a part of her birthday lunch so we all coordinated it and went to one of her favorite restaurants which is Tamaki and Tea. They sell sushi, which we really love. After that, we did a little shopping and she found a deal on sheets and then we headed home and that afternoon all her friends showed up. She really loves chicken pot pie and so I made a spin on it and chicken pot pie pies after dinner was time for presents and cake. Then we ended the night having a bonfire. It was so nice and relaxing. I completely forgot to take pictures or any kind of video.

But it was a nice day Hailey had a great time and then we got up the next day and did a surprise movie and dinner for Joshua. We took him to see the minions movie and I made him a dinner that was all yellow themed. The movie was pretty funny and after the movie , Dad, Josh and Gideon went home and we went and seen the new twister which was really really good.

So it was a wonderful weekend celebrating Hailey’s birthday and spoiling Joshua and taking him to his favorite show.

Mama Bell, I love the attention and care that goes into your children's birthdays! It really made me smile that your birthday song included the lyrics, "Go shorty, it's your birthday!❤" My side of the family is SO tall, I'm one of the shortest women at 5'9. My husband's side is SO short. The shortest lady is 4"9. My daughter took after my husband's side. She's so tiny even though she's full-grown!❤

Momma Bell...as a Momma to a boy with some special needs I love how you gave gentle but firm encouragement to Joshie, I was sitting here smiling from ear to ear. You continue to let him know " you've got this, you're doing great and then very sweetly called in some reinforcement asking where is Noah who typically helps. I know you are encouraging with ALL of your children but I guess I really hone in with your interaction with Josh due to my own situation with my son.
A beautiful celebration. All I ever wanted my whole life was to be a Mommy and to have a big family. I grew up in a big family but I only have one sister, the others are all my aunts and uncles. My Mom was the oldest of 6 and she had me when she was 17 so when I was born I had an aunt that was 3, and uncles that were 4, 5 and 6 years old then an uncle that was 15 then my Mom. My grandma had several miscarriages and still births between the 15 year old and the 6 year old, then she had 4 one right after the other so I was basically like the 7th kid in the family. Anyway...I LOVED being a part of a big family, even if they all tormented me all the time. I only ended up having one child who is now 13, I was 41 before I got married and then I was 44 when I had my son. I was told I likely couldn't have any children but we put it in Gods hands and along came our son a couple years later. I so wish I could have given him siblings but he gets all my love and attention and hopefully that makes up for not having any siblings for now :)
