It must be really fun to cook with a group of family members! I remember those days with grandma, mom, aunts, cousins, etc we'd all get the meals cooked, especially on holidays and special occasions!! Grandma has been gone for almost 40 years now, mom is 90 years old, many family members moved away, got married, had families of their own. I miss those days so much.
Please, enjoy days like this, they're memory makers that stay with you a lifetime. All my kids are grown now, my grandchildren are grown and I miss those days so very much! Appreciate these days because everyone seems to grow up so fast. I'd do anything to get to do it all over again! But for now, I care for my elderly parents and in-laws and I'm happy to care for them. It's an honor!

I love everyone helping and doing their part! Me my brothers and now single mom are a much smaller fmaily than yours but ill cut and prep the veg, my brother will cut the meat and mom cooks once prep is done. Then depending on everyones needs ill do the dishes and my brother will dry them or me and my mom will do them together instead.
Its good for bonding too. We have the weirdest conversations while eating and cleaning up haha 😅
