There's no experience like staying up all night watching the city shift from glass and stone, to golden yellows amongst other auras, and then back into that pallete once again. Dusk is sincerely the best time of day to view Manhattan, especially when its overcast and raining. Such a gorgeous compound of the cool blues sorrounding the warm oranges of skyscrapers.

It's rather easy to get rooms high up overlooking your city. The coolest view I had was watching a storm come in from that height.

Be careful. Comfort Inn charges a room deposit and hold on to it for at least 30 days or forever—unless you have the time and the energy to make endless calls to get it refunded back to you. You try to call them about it and you get the runaround. A real hassle. And my guess is they especially target elderly with this scam
