Finishing Plywood like a Pro

Sharing my method of finishing plywood. It is inexpensive, fast and guarantees decent results each time.
I should add that if you will decide to apply few layers of polyurethane it would be smart to lightly sand the surface after each coat with a brown scorching pad. They are really good.

I have some old painted plywood I inherited when I purchased a mid century home. Can I reuse and rejuvenate this plywood? I has hoped to use it for some inset shelves and other projects but am wondering if it is worth salvaging.

Moin, you should also paint it from the inside so that the wood does not warp, especially with polyurethane.
Nice work! 👍

Can these steps be done on a plywood table top to change the stain color from dark to lighter ? If so how can I patch some imperfections such as a burn on it?? Thanks

I thought you should never finish an oil based stain with water based poly/ varnish

Adding a water based clear coat over oil-based stain doesn't cause peeling?
