Shays, Whistles, Parade of Steam! | Cass Scenic Railroad

On June 20, 2020, the Cass Scenic Railroad in Cass, WV hosted an event dubbed "Parade of Steam". Unable to pass it up, @BaltimoreAndOhioRR and I made the 5 hour drive to the small logging town in the heart of WV. The event was definitely something to see, unlike any other I have seen before.
There were amazing whistle shows, unique Shay steam locomotives, and perfect weather. What else could you ask for?

The echos of the whistles in the mountains makes it hauntingly beautiful.

Can't tell the number of times I've been to Cass, riding trains, fishing in the Greenbrier River or just getting a good lunch at the restaurant. Always fun to be there and the sounds are magical. Recommend it for families with kids that like trains.
