Показать описание
Upgrading to a new MicroSD card on the Switch is usually a straightforward process, however for CFW users running emuMMC there's a few more steps to take depending on your setup. Migrating your data is a process of copying and pasting, but the hurdle of moving your emuMMC partition from one card to another could be confusing for many people out there looking to retain their console setup. This tutorial will show you how to back up your old MicroSD card, set up your new MicroSD card, and bring over all of your data along with your emuMMC setup.

This will require a modified Switch along with knowing the basics of how to navigate it.

This is really cool! I've underutilized my G1 Switch. Great to know this is an option! :)

I love how detailed you were. It helped me swap to a 512gb from a 128gb. Thank you!

Great timing and relevant to me considering I just found an unpatched switch and set up Atmosphere with a 128 GB microSD. Definitely going to be a great reference when I inevitably upgrade. Thanks!

Thank you for this guide! I upgraded from 128 GB to 256 GB. However, I used a different software. The AOMEI Partition Assistant is really slow and it's stuck at 1%. I decided to use Macrium Reflect. They have the same settings to configure so it's not hard to use Macrium. It only took 2 hours to clone a full 128 GB card. I wouldn't have upgraded my SD card if not for this video. Why not use geniusdisk free version and clone the OLD SD to new one. Make sure use the option copy file so u can toggle the fat32 partition to expand with new sd card capacity.

Idk why, but i can't copy the partitions folder from my backup to my new sd, anyone can help?

Will this work with android partitions too? I have both atmosphere (not emummc) and android installed, so shouldn’t I just be able to allocate the android partition with the new sd and then transfer my files?

Might be a dumb question, but can i still access both the sysMMC (OFW) and the emuMMC (CFW) on the Hekate menu after i successfully transfer the files on the new SD Card like usual?
